Song Descriptions/Meanings
A. A Song about an AI reaching human-like intelligence, but with no means to output. Based (very loosely) on Harlan Ellison’s story of the name “I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream” – Well… more inspired by it in concept.
AA. This song is a bunch of Bullshit. Was made using the Sample Pack by Producer Snafu as a demo, and then I just took it off the rails. This song is made about 95% using only samples from that pack (and ofc edits, arrangement, etc in Reaper DAW).
B. Deformat Bass is just about making that Deformat Bass. Not much of a deeper meaning.
BB. Many of the songs on this EP have a similar sound, and that was because they shared a similar pool of synths, etc in sound design. This song takes all the samples, clips, etc. used in the 3 previous songs, as well as some unused takes, and combines them into something mad. Namely in a style more like the music I was making in the early 2000s
XT* The bonus track was from a tagged post by huglessdankins wanting me to remix a sampled reel. This song was created by remixing that reel, as well as adding bass/sounds from the Arturia and drums cut on the Polyend Tracker.
