This is the new Deformat Records

This site is home to Deformat, a record label specializing in hard beats and weird formats. This site is a WIP, and most facets of Deformat are decentralized. See below for finding out more information as everything begins to coalesce onto this website.

Deformat still specializes in breakcore, gabber, and insanity. Nothing really new, just a buzzword.

Releases and Distrobution

Currently, all of our music is released on our Bandcamp

We are also utilizing major streaming sources. Although the plan to support our music on these is changing, and will likely be removed from those that we feel have questionable practices.

Deformat will expand from Bandcamp to Subvert, with an announcement and links later. Deformat is a proud supporter and founder of Subvert.

The section of Releases on this site will remain up to date. Just slug through the awful theme as it is developed. This section also has information regarding the archive of Deformat. There are also plans to bring our archive back online, with remasters of some in the future.

Merch

Merch will slowly begin integrating to this site, with designs for Deformat artists, and other deisgns that work alongside Deformat’s nature of breakcore/noise/gabber, etc.

Currently, all of our merchandise is POD, and this is to keep our overhead low and not produce more than needed. There is currently no plan to overproduce anything.

Physical Releases

Physical media is presently handled by Elastic Stage

Vinyl POD will likely remain our source of physical media, with plans for tapes down the road, as well as some special edition CD3s.
